This chair fits fine in our shower, and by setting it in front of our existing shower bench I can now just step in and out of the shower instead of walking forward on slippery floors and becoming totally exhausted. I can now reach shampoo as well and wash my hair since I save my energy for that instead of walking longer and shifting around to walk out. I know those don't sound like much, but with limited mobility it is a life-saver and much saver for me. I needed very sturdy and this is, too! It is doing exactly what I needed it to do!
