Here is a quick step by step on how to change the handbrake assembly.
Design Change:
Serial # 2A1606301542 & newer use new style fork and wheels.
The tall Nitro uses the same wheels as the standard height Nitro. Click here for the replacement wheels. All other parts that are not specific to the tall frame are also listed under the Standard height Nitro.
Drive parts are series specific and not interchangeable, unless labelled, with other drive series or other brands. Returns will not be accepted for intended use under these circumstances. If design changes are noted on any parts, please contact us to make sure you have the correct part for your serial number.
Brake cable was a perfect fit. Shipped fast and glad it did because the right cable had broken. The parts list was very helpful for selecting the correct part. Will buy here again when the need arises.
Faster delivery is needed on parts, that are required for use of walkers. It is hard to use a 3 wheel walker.
Contaced seller after I found no replacement instructions were included. The seller was nice enough to forward what was available , the instructions left a bit of figuring out to do regarding installation sequence and correct installation of the handle assembly. All I really needed was a cable, would have been nice if you could just buy it by itself and save a buck.
The pair of replacement front wheel bearings came quickly and were delivered exactly when the tracking information said they would be. The bearings were a perfect press fit in the wheel and restored the walker to full operation.
