Hand Brake

This took way too much time to replace. The OEM part had 2 bolts which separated the top pc and the bottom which easy on/easy off the handle bar. We had to take the hand grip off and that was hard and time consuming because yours wouldn't clear it. After using 2 screwdrivers and heat gun and at least an hour we removed the grip. Then your piece slipped on handle bar and tightened with the one screw.

All replacement parts come directly From Drive Medical and are OEM not an aftermarket look alike. But, there may be a little mistaken identity on your knee walker. If your hand brake assembly had 2 bolts and clamped unto the handle bar, you have a 790 model. The two models have some similarities. But, the parts are different. Another way to tell is if it has one large knee pad(790) or 2 smaller knee pads(796). The 790 also has 2 hand brakes. If your knee walker has 2 knee pads and the bolt on brake assembly, someone has put the wrong brake assembly on the knee walker prior.
