1. Pry off the dust cap to expose the fork stem nut.

2. Remove the fork stem nut.

3. The screw that holds the hub cap on to the fork axle is either an Allen or a Torx head. Verify that the correct tool and size is being used as not to round out the head of the screw.

4. Remove the hub cap from the front wheel.

5. Install the hub cap screw back onto the fork axle. Screw it down as far as possible, DO NOT FORCE THE SCREW.

6. Open a vise 1/4" wider than the diameter of the fork and place the wheel fork assembly on the vise. (Alternatively two blocks of wood could be used.)

7. Gently tap down on the head of the screw until the "Tinnerman" nut is off the fork axle.

8. Remove the hub cap screw and the "Tinnerman" nut.

9. Separate the wheel from the fork.

10. Place the new wheel on the axle of the fork.

11. Wrap the fork to protect the paint and firmly lock into the vise.

12. Place the "Tinnerman" nut over the fork axle.

13. Place a socket that is the same diameter as the "Tinnerman" nut over the "Tinnerman" nut. Gently tap the socket until the "Tinnerman" nut is flush with the wheel bearing.

14. Follow steps 1 through 4 in reverse to complete the installation of the new wheel.
